Titled "Intervalo," a collection features the ocular iris as the central focus in a non-linear time narrative. The pieces blend stirrup spouts and handles reminiscent of Latin American ceramics, both visually striking and utilitarian. Their rough surfaces expose the white crocs of the dark stoneware clay, resulting in softly hand-polished textures.

All vessels in this series are crafted from dark stoneware, some adorned with raw white slip and glazed on their interiors.

The "Intervalo" collection signifies the start of Toia's exploratory journey, bridging South American roots with materials and techniques from Australia. She aims to nurture universal languages such as tactile sensation and visual perception.
