Emma’s work in abstract sculpture is born out of time immersed in the landscape, drawing inspiration from rock formations and natural structures. This form was inspired by eroded rock formations commonly found near bodies of water in Western Australia.

about the artist
Emma Lindegaard is a self-taught ceramic artist based in Fremantle, Western Australia.
Her objects are built entirely by hand, using the coiling method and minimal tools over multiple days, allowing space for spontaneity, intuition, and experimentation to inform the final piece. As a result, each work is a unique expression, often led by exploration of negative space, organic curves, and clean lines.
